CIPA Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor- Video
Hey, everybody. Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA universal fit dual lens towing mirror, which is also sold as a set. Towing mirror is really going to expand our field of view, so that's going to come in handy whenever we're making a lane change, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us. And since this tow mirror has dual lenses, not only are we going to be able to see a up-close view of it, but also more of a wide angle as well.Now to give you an example of how much more ground we're going to be able to cover, so you can see I'm visible in our towing mirror but not in our factory mirror. If I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror, and become visible in the factory mirror. more

A towing mirror is really going to expand our field of view. That's going to be especially useful whenever we're making a lane change, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us. And since this one actually has dual lenses, we're going to get two different images. What I mean by that is one will give us a more close up image and the smaller lens will give us a nice wide image. more

Today, on our 2010 Ford Raptor, we're going to be doing a test-fit on the K-Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or a camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Now, if I take a few steps in, as you can see, there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just the factory. The mirror itself can be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, diagonal, and side to side. more

CIPA Clamp On Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2010 Ford F-150 Raptor- Video
Today in our 2010 Ford Raptor, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Cipa universal bar clamp on towing mirror, part number CM11980. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not so much the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees, so if we'd like to keep it at that horizontal position, we have that option. It can also be adjusted to most angles. more
